Amy battled dementia and covid but that never stopped her from loving. The world lost a beloved mother. Amelia “Amy” Susan Jeskie in the predawn hours of January 31, 2021 at Dunham Rehab in St.Charles.
Amy was born in Chicago, IL on June 28th, 1925. She was the 2nd daughter and the 6th out of 7 children of Ottilia and Mathias Propst.
Amy worked as a Health Insurance Administrator. Her colleagues knew her as a kind and caring soul, always willing to help where and when she could.
Her delight was her family especially, her grandchildren and great-grandsons.
Amy is survived by her son, Reino “Rick” Jr. (Wendy). Her youngest daughter, Mary Paula (David) Hiatt.
Her three grandchildren Patricia “Patty” (Chris) Hofmann. Jimmy Borman. Nathen “Nate” Finnstrom (Morgan). And her two great-grandchildren Noah and Micha Hofmann.
Her namesake, niece and God Daughter Amelia “Amy” Apperson.
Amy was preceded in death by her first husband Reino Finnstrom, Sr. and her 2nd husband Raymond Jeskie. Her oldest child Diana Lynn Borman and Son in Law James Borman. Also, her parents, siblings, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, May 8, 2021 at St. Peter Catholic Church 1891 Kaneville Road Geneva.
