January 6, 1942 – September 12, 2023 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony J. Gorzak Sr., who left us peacefully at the age of 81.
Son of John and Mary Gorzak brother of Diane, Anthony was born in Chicago. Anthony was a beloved Husband to Barbara for 59 years. He was a loving parent to John(Anita), Steve, Tony(Kathy) and Megan(Brandon) Cahill. Grandparent to Gianna, Alissa, Sarah, Johnny, Drew, Hayden Cahill and a dear friend to many.
Anthony led a full life filled with career and family success. He will forever be known for his love of cars, fishing and traveling. His presence impacted the lives of all who knew him.
A memorial visitation to celebrate Anthony’s life will be held on Thursday September 21, 2023 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main Street, St Charles Illinois 60174. Family and friends are invited to attend and share their memories.
Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday September 22, 2023 at St Michael Catholic Church 310 S Wheaton Ave. Wheaton Illinois 60187.
Anthony J. Gorzak Sr. will be dearly missed but will live on in our hearts and memories.
