Arthur “Papa” Mollenhauer, age 88, of St. Charles passed away peacefully Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva, Illinois.

He was born August 22, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois to Otto and Hedwig Mollenhauer.

He was a lifelong Bears fan and a season ticket holder.

Mr. Mollenhauer is survived his wife, Dolores, three children, Arthur, Steven (Janet) and Thomas (Renee), six grandchildren, Anya, Max, Mallory, Alec, John and Samantha.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Carole Mollenhauer and a daughter-in-law, Ida Mollenhauer.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 8th at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, (corner of Rt. 64 and Rt. 25), St. Charles.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.  In lieu of flowers, to JDRF, 200 Verey Street, 28th Floor, New York, New York 10281 and Susan G. Komen Foundation.
