Barbara (Barb) Atwell age 65 of St. Charles passed away surrounded by her loving family September 5, 2017. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to Bernard “Buddy” and Blanche Becker. Her family moved to Bellmore, NY where she lived until 1975. She married her husband Charlie and they moved to Geneva, IL. For a short time they lived in Bolingbrook, IL , and moved to St. Charles, in 1995 where they presently reside.

She is survived by her loving husband Charlie, daughter Amy Perry, of Salt Lake City, UT grandson Elliott, Kate Atwell, of Chicago, IL, Josh Atwell of Van Nuys, CA. sisters; Ellen (Randy) Witrick, of Northport, NY, Penny (Buddy) Senia, of Las Vegas, NV.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Barb’s Life will be 12:30, Sunday, September 10, 2017, at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. A Visitation will follow the Celebration at Yurs Funeral Home and end at 2:30 P.M.

Barb asked that you either plant a tree in Israel in her name, and or/ make a contribution to Pink Heals Tri-Cities, Checks may be made payable to: Pink Heals Tri-Cities Illinois Chapter, 6N954 Crestwood Drive, St. Charles IL 60175.
