"I’m going to miss great-grandma so much. I wish I could have seen her more often. I liked writing letters to her and I’m sad that she’s gone. I love you great-grandma."

"I’m so blessed to have had such an amazing grandma, and I have so many fond memories of visiting her (and grandpa Don) growing up. With her, I always felt loved and cared for - whether she was making sure I had an endless supply of chicken nuggets for the summer, checking on me during the night while I slept on the pull out couch, or getting me a bike just so I’d be able to ride while visiting. I loved her stories, her laugh, and her seemingly endless energy. Her first-day-of-school visits to California were the best, and I especially looked forward to our our long walks and conversations. Saying goodbye after a visit always tore at my heart - it was hard growing up so far from her. Nevertheless, she was always there for the important times in my life. I’m so, so grateful my Elise was able to know her great-grandma, and even though she only knew her for a short time, she loved her very much. We are going to miss her so much, but we know she is watching over us now, and take comfort in knowing that we will one day be reunited again."

"I’m going to miss you so much. From your warm hugs to your laughter, I will never forget how much I felt loved by you. I’m going to miss our Christmas visits and Laughlin trips. I hope you are at peace. Heaven now has their Lady Luck. I love you so much."
Condolences
