Bert Eisenhour, Jr. age 94 of St. Charles passed away March 3, 2018. He was born to Bert and Margaret Eisenhour Sr. in West Aurora. Following his graduation from H.S. he attended Purdue University and was a member of the R.O.T.C. Bert joined the Navy and served on the U.S.S. Kershaw, as a Radio Technician. After his service in the Navy, Bert returned to the Fox Valley and worked along with his father who was the Chief Engineer for Colonel Fabyan at River Bank Labs. From an early age Bert loved cameras, and after his career as a research engineer, he purchased the Photo Shop in St. Charles and built a successful business. He married his first wife Catherine Petit in 1955, and raised their son Bert III in St. Charles. Bert loved taking vacations or going to cruse nights and parades in his 1957 T Bird, or just going anywhere in that car.
He is survived by his son Bert (Judy) Eisenhour III, daughter Pat (Scott) Sarver, four grandchildren, Michelle (James) Johnston, Michael (Kerry) Mayenschein, Elizabeth Lemcke-Polovin, Suzanne (Matt) Breedlove, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Bert was preceded in death by his first wife of 15 years Catherine, his second wife of 38 years Jane, and his brother Robert Eisenhour.
A Memorial Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. May 5th 2018 at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. Burial will be private.
