Brooke Alan Nemeth, age 52, of Geneva passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva after a short battle with cancer.
He was born May 10, 1967 in Anoka, Minnesota to Stephen Julius and Martha Lee Nemeth.
Brooke was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. He was a fan of the Purple People Eaters of the 1960’s and 70’s. He always hoped to see a Super Bowl win.
God gifted him with a talent for woodworking. He loved to create lasting heirloom tables for people to “break bread” at for generations. He did many woodworking projects at his church as well.
Brooke had a deep love for his family. He loved his kids and his grandkids. He was so proud of them all. Haylee (blueberry pancakes), Troy (bacon boy), and Lincoln (waffles), aka The Breakfast Club, had a special place in his heart, a large place. Even after 30 years of marriage, he would still refer to his wife as his beautiful bride.
Brooke had a deep love for his Savior. He would start his day in the word and devotion. He loved sharing and inspiring others with what God’s word revealed to him.
Brooke is survived by his wife, Adriane, three children, Kayla (Dustin) Hegreberg, Andrew and Jonathan, three grandchildren, Haylee, Troy and Lincoln Hegreberg and a sister, Liz (Mike) Simoneau.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M., Friday, December 13th at the Well, 33W835 Cherry Lane, Geneva. Memorial visitation will be held Friday from 1-3:00 P.M. at the church.
