Obituaries

Burt R. Lancaster of St. Charles passed away at his home peacefully on Wednesday July 15, 2020. He was born in Aurora Ill. On September 15, 1962.

He is survived by his mother Patricia E Nelson, Brother Wayne E. Benson (Debra) and nephews Gary and Timmy Benson, along with many special lifelong friends and neighbors.

Burt’s passions in life were being an avid WHITE SOX FAN, Pizzas Maker, Mowing lawns and snow removal in the winter.  He enjoyed walking all over town in his free time.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Father Arthur W. Nelson, Aunt Shirley Swanson and Uncle James L. Johnston.

Celebration of life will be held at Marks Second Street Tavern on August 1, 2020 from 2-5pm.  Donations are being collected for the family to help offset medical cost.
