Candise M. Anvin (nee Werner), 71, of St. Charles, IL passed away peacefully at home on June 12, 2019. She was the beloved wife of Ulf Anvin. Dearest mother of James Tracy (Lisa), Kim Tracy (Bill Vosatka), and Thomas, Peter, and Fredrik Anvin. Loving grandmother of James and Grant Tracy as well as Erik and Ralf Anvin. Dear sister to Darlene Bogda (Chuck) and fond aunt, cousin, niece, friend and dog-sitter to many.
Candy was proud of the 20 years she serviced customers working for Trans World Airlines (TWA) at both O’Hare Airport (ORD) and Los Angeles International (LAX) in the 1970’s, 80’s and 90’s. Candy was an animal lover and will be missed by every dog she ever met especially, Cody, Bruiser, Gigi, Cowie, Bunky, Loki, Roark and Phoebe, some of which are sitting on her lap right now.
Candy traveled all around the world in the last 23 years with Ulf, her true love, husband and soulmate. She especially loved spending time with Ulf in Italy and Hawaii and had one especially memorable trip to Africa.
Candy loved to dance. In the 1960’s and 70’s, Candy was a professional dancer who appeared at numerous Chicago venues and local television shows.
Candy, surrounded by loved ones and some beloved furry friends, is looking down on all of us, sending her love and hoping we remember her kind, loving and giving spirit.
A Celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
Condolences
James Tracy from Batavia, IL
"Mom, I love you more than you will ever know. I miss you more with each passing day. You taught me how to live, how to give, how to work and how to appreciate every day of my life. You gave me strength and taught me determination and I never would have succeeded without your example. You will never be forgotten by anyone who met you. Your spirit will live on in every one of us. You overcame so much to live the best life you could. I hope I can pass on just a fraction of what you taught me to my sons. Thank you for that. I will think of you and love until my final breath. Love, Jim"
