Carol Sue McCormack, age 68, of Elgin, formerly of Geneva, Powder Springs, Georgia and Crystal Lake, Illinois passed away Sunday June 17, 2018 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva, Illinois
She was born March 1, 1950 in Hays, Kansas to Alvin and Margie Urban.
Carol is survived by her husband, Michael, a daughter, Kelsey McCormack, a daughter, Donna (Michael) DeCaigny and a son, Robert (Cheryl) Schlenkert, five grandchildren, Cole, Emma and Elyse DeCaigny and Justin and Jenna Schlenkert and her loyal companion, Chandler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Al Urban.
Memorial visitation will be Sunday, June 24th from 1-4:00 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M., Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Anderson Animal Shelter, 1000 South LaFox Road, South Elgin, Illinois 60177.
