Obituaries

Carol Susan Jirsa, 88, of Elgin, formerly of Wheaton and Westchester, passed away on July 3rd, at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home where she was a resident for the past two years. Beloved wife of the late Richard F. Jirsa, Sr. She is survived by her son Richard and wife Claudia, Rochester MN;  her daughter Susan and husband Brian Buonomo, Waldwick NJ;  her son James and wife Denise, St. Charles IL;  and daughter-in-law Lilian, Barrington IL.  She was the treasured grandmother of ten and great-grandmother of three. She is also survived by her brother George and his wife Carrie, Lisle IL, her adored niece Nicole and husband Hank Muensterman, dear friends, and other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Ronald, Barrington IL, and her son Jeff and  wife Mary of Ootlewah TN.

Per her wishes, Carol was cremated. Please honor her by honoring friends and family as she did.
