Charles J. Gramm, Jr. age 56, of Hampshire, Illinois passed away on March 27, 2022.

CJ, as he was called, graduated from West Leyden High School in 1984. He was a very talented pitcher and shared this gift with his father, who coached him. He was a fun-loving, big-hearted jokester that could make anybody laugh. He had the ability to find laughter in his daily life that was contagious to everyone.

He is survived by his daughters; Tracy (Marco) Montaini, Katie (Tony) Gigac, son Charles J. Gramm III (Dakota), and daughter Kacy, granddaughter; Sophia, sisters; Patricia (Bill) Watson, Michele DeCanio, Victoria (Frank) Flaws, Kathleen Gramm (Don Christiansen), Theresa Jankovec, and Kimberly Gramm. Fun Uncle to Dawn (Steve) Bednar, Shannon (Mark) Wakitsch, Kelly (Nick) DeCanio, Ricky Voyles, Brian (Kelly) DeCanio, Austin (Marlena) Hrubec, Aleesa Jaeger, Justin Jaeger and Hannah Jankovec. Great Uncle to Jackson, Joshua, Scarlett, Lincoln, Sawyer, and Danny and Levi.

CJ was preceded in death by mom Patricia nee Moore Gramm, and dad Charles J. Gramm, Sr. and sister Deborah Lynn Gramm.

Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., St. Charles, Illinois 60174. A prayer service will follow at 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. After which, there will be time for friends and family to share their stories about CJ.
