"I knew Chuck through the Evanston Vineyard Church. I was the Group Leader for the Prophetic Group for many seasons. I remember Chuck as a friendly and wise person who loved learning and enjoyed reading. He encouraged many people, motivating them through his discernment and wisdom. During the Covid pandemic many visitors would come to our group and would be encouraged by Chuck through his discernment, wisdom and wonderful sense of humor. Chuck would help people by motivating us using bible stories, scripture references and how he shared dreams he may have had for different people. He loved to laugh and share jokes with us younger folks, and we loved him back as he shared his life with us. Chuck left a lasting impression for me in the way that he seemed to have a thirst to always be learning and telling us about a new book he was reading. I love the picture that you left for us to remember him by. My heartfelt condolences to Chuck's family and friends. My thoughts and prayers will be with you during this time. Respectfully, Toni Scott"

"Dear Christen, we share your grief at your father's passing, and also the relief that he is done with suffering forever. Chuck was a wonderful and beloved part of Evanston Vineyard. As pastors we appreciated so much that he was always eager to learn new things, to invest in the other people in the small groups and classes he was in, and to serve in whatever ways he could as the stages of his life allowed. He set such a good example for the rest of us, and his absence has already been felt."
