Obituaries

Charlotte “Char” Stading, nee Davidson, age 71, of South Elgin, IL entered eternal life on February 6, 2018 with her loving husband of 52 years at her side.

Char was born on December 20, 1946 in St. Charles, IL. She graduated from St. Charles H.S. in 1964. Char was a fraud investigator at JP Morgan Chase for over 25 years before her retirement. Char enjoyed listening to music, playing on the computer, dining out, antique shopping and taking many trips with her husband.

She is survived by her loving husband Thomas, daughters, Linda (David) Stanek, Michelle (Lawrence) Frank, grandchildren, Jonathan and Brooke Stanek, Lawson and Kelly Frank, sister Geraldine “Geri” (Pete) Van Pool, brothers, Norman (Christine) Johnson, Richard (Ginger) Johnson, loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, and dear friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Beulah, nee McKiness, Davidson.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude for all of the doctors and nursing staff who tended to her at Provena St. Joseph Hospital, Elgin.

Visitation will be 2-5:00 P.M. Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main St. St. Charles, IL 60174. Funeral Services will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, February 12, 2018, at Yurs Funeral Home, St. Charles, IL. Burial will be at Union Cemetery, St. Charles, IL. Contributions may be made to The Leukemia Lymphoma Society 954 W.
