Dale Edward Schiele age 78, of St. Charles, passed away September 11, 2022.
Mr. Schiele was born August 12, 1944, the son of Howard Schiele and Blanche Van Devender.
He was a graduate of Paris High School in 1962 and Illinois Commercial College in Champaign, Illinois in 1964. Mr. Schiele was in the accounting profession for 53 years. He was a member of Hosanna! Lutheran Church. He did various voluntary work including Lazarus House Homeless Shelter and was a volunteer blood donor.
He is survived by his son Chad (Staci Harrington) Schiele of Elgin, Illinois Daughter Amy (Joseph) Fligelman of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Grandsons Payson and Ryker of Elgin, sister Bonnie Hess of Paris, Illinois several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be 10:30 A.M. Friday, September 16, 2022, at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois 60174. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lazarus House.

"Dale was my "garage friend". Dale was a true "old school" gentleman. I respected his work ethics & bonded over his tools & work bench which was similar to the bench my dad made. He always had such a positive attitude. I enjoyed bringing my 1 yr. old granddaughter over to say "Hi" to Dale when he was out in his garage. They both would light up when they saw each other. "There's Dale ", I would say to Jacey!! Dale helped to plow my son's driveway when my daughter-in-law was pregnant with Jacey & we were shoveling. Our payment request was a six pack of Miller Lite!!
