Daniel Pfeifer, 56 years of age and long-time resident of South Elgin died peacefully on January 14, 2018 surrounded by members of his family and life-long friends. Daniel was born on August 5, 1961 in St. Charles, IL, the son of the late William Pfeifer and the late Wanda Pfeifer-Gray. Daniel was the loving father of Tera Pfeifer (Jason Tylman). He is survived by his brother David Pfeifer (Sheila), sister Deborah Pfeifer and brother Timothy Gray. Daniel is also survived by Mike and Betsy Penny and their children, Louis Penny (Jane), Michael Penny (Audrey), Martha Strauss, and Anne Valentine (Gary).
Daniel was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan and sports enthusiast. His heart of gold touched many lives. Daniel, aka PeeWee, spent the majority of his career at General Mills in West Chicago as a line mechanic and made many lifelong friendships.
Put on your favorite Chicago Cubs sports gear and come help us celebrate Danny’s life. Visitation will be at Yur’s Funeral home, 405 E Main St St. Charles IL, Friday January 19th from 2:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral services will be at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2900 E. Main St, St. Charles IL on Saturday, January 20th at 10:30am.
