"Dan was definitely a gem, one of the most kind hearted individuals I’ve ever met !!! My prayers for peace and strength during this time for you all!! He left an imprint on my heart . See you later buddy .. save us a seat on that bus we always talked about riding together."

Angee Ledbetter from Lubbock, TX

"Dan was a GREAT guy and it was a pleasure to get to know him and call him a friend. I worked with Dan in Lubbock. Dan was one of the few people I've known in my lifetime with such a good and honest disposition, who was genuinely kind and caring to everyone he met. He was always willing to help out with issues with my Spark and he seemed to always know the correct answer to whatever problem was ailing my little car! He was fun to talk to about a myriad of subjects. I may not have always been in agreement with him but I always respected him and I believe he felt the same way. He loved is family deeply. I remember when the hurricane hit Florida a couple of years ago and his panic at not been able to reach them and when he finally did his relief at finally being able to speak with them. Dan was much to young to have passed but I feel so lucky that I got to know him for the short amount of time that I did. Pease know that you raised a wonderful young man and son. I know you are incredibly proud and devasted all at the same time but I wanted you to know that he did have an impact on the people whose everyday lives he was a part of and we will all cherish being his friend and we miss him every day. My heartfelt prayers go out to your family. I hope that you find some comfort in knowing that Dan was a very special person to all of us that had the honor to know him."

"Dan Dan bus driver man!Dan is someone I’ve known my entire life- over 20 years of friendship. We met online and the whole crew stayed in touch and stayed friends over the years.Dan never failed to check in with a funny meme, updates about his life and asking after mine. He was often reconnecting folks who’d fallen out of touch from the group, too! After twenty years I finally got to see him when he took his big drive in his ZZ whip all the way up to Quebec. We sat for hours just talking on the grass and he got to meet my son!Dan was so loved by all who knew him. He will be so deeply missed. My sincerest condolences to his friends family and loved ones. ❤️"

Marty P. from Denver, CO

"I had the honour and pleasure to be Dan's friend while working together at DIA. Was a great dude and full of humor. After leaving Denver we kept in touch, had planned to make a visit to Lubbock but never got around to it. Was a shock finding out he had passed, like his time came too soon. He's in a better place now, R.I.P. my Friend..."
