"I can't fathom this. I played golf with Dan many times and loved every minute of it. One of the first times we played together was a November outing at Cog Hill called Turkey Shoot. We played for fun, just to get one last round in before winter. We had no idea you could win a turkey but our foursome won turkeys. After the round they dropped 5 frozen butterballs on our table. Dan go 2 birds as he also won a straightest drive. It was an incredible scene to see him leaving the course in a parka, golf bag and two frozen turkeys. What a guy."
