David “Dave” Hansen age 71 of St. Charles, passed away December 1, 2018 at Delnor Hospital. He was born July 29, 1947 to Donald and Donna Hansen in Chicago, IL.
He is survived by his fiancé Ruth Flores, three children; Derek (Rachel), Wendy (Johnnie), Victoria, three grand-children; Charity, Emma Jean, George Cooper, mother Donna, brother Donald (Taresa), sister Sue (Russ), brother Dan (Karen), nephew Russ, niece Cory (Derek), niece Ashley (Jonathan), great niece Lyndi and great nephew Owen.
He was preceded in death by his father Donald, two nephews; Donny and Kyle.
He worked for 30 years at Exelon. He rode from the East Coast to the West Coast logging over 200,000 miles, and stopped in to all the “Mom and Pop” restaurants he could find along the way.
He loved his family, his Harley Family, his bike, and the Blues. We know he is riding down route 66, on his next adventure.
Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. A Funeral Service will follow visitation at 5:00 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy, or your favorite charity.
