David G. Frye, age 76 of St. Charles passed away May 14, 2018. He was born to George and Verona Frye in Aurora, IL. He was employed by Payhauler, was a Volunteer Fireman in St. Charles for 45 years, served with the St. Charles EMA, and was active in the St. Charles Soccer Program.

He is survived by his loving wife Patricia, two daughters Charlotte (Brian) Steele, Cheryl (David) Plummer, two sons; Marcus (Lisa) Frye, Gregg (Lisa) Frye, and 11 Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother Donald Frye.

A Memorial Visitation will be 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois 60174. A Memorial Service will follow the visitation at 11:00 A.M. at Yurs Funeral Home. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in David’s memory to Anderson Animal Shelter 1000 S. Lafox Street, South Elgin, IL 60177.
