David Matthew Agro, Born: February 17, 1980; Died: October 21, 2018
David Matthew Agro, 38, of St. Charles, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 21st, 2018. David was born in St. Charles, Illinois, and was a lifelong resident of Illinois.
David was a graduate of St. Charles High School East, and went on to earn his degree from DeVry School of Technology in Addison. He worked for over 20 years managing Information Technology as a Network Specialist for Spraying Systems, Inc., and was the main computer consultant among his family and friends. No matter how busy he was, he never failed to return a call or text from anyone in need.
David loved NASCAR racing, and when he wasn’t spending time with friends at Sycamore Speedway, he could usually be found watching the races on weekends alongside his father. He was an avid Bears and Cubs fan as well, cheering them on through thick and thin. David had a special love of the Florida coastline, as well as spending time with loved ones at the beach, and always had dreams of moving to the Gulf Coast of Florida someday. More than anything, he loved his beloved dog, Smokey.
David’s kind heart, sincerity, and love for all living creatures will be missed by all. From the moment he was born, David brought immeasurable joy and peace to his family. He had a gentle, deeply spiritual side, as well as an infectious sense of humor, and remained close with his parents, brother, and sister throughout his life, holding unique and special relationships with each member of the family.
David is survived by his mother, Janet (nee Foster); father, Joseph; brother, James (Debra); and his sister, Theresa Marotta (Thomas). Also, his nephews, Sean, Michael and Matthew, and nieces, Hannah and Rachel. He was loved by his dog, Smokey, as well as numerous friends and family who count him as a loyal companion.
David will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. His generous spirit and loving nature will be missed by all who knew him. May we all cherish the limited time that God allowed us to spend with David on this earth. He had to leave us much too soon, and none of us will ever be the same without his loving presence. May the night stars burn brighter now knowing that peace has found its way to him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018, from 3:00-6:30 p.m. at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main Street in St. Charles.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in David’s name to the Anderson Animal Shelter in South Elgin, Illinois.
Condolences
Vicki Sears from St. Charles, IL
"I am so sorry to read of David’s death! I had been David’s second grade teacher at Wild Rose, and it broke my heart to read this. My students were “my kids” then and always. I wanted to come to David’s celebration of Life, but I need to stay clear of crowds as I am in treatments for Multiple Myeloma. David and all of you are on my mind and in my prayers! God bless you!"
