David Harrell, 73, passed away November 29, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was deeply loved by his wife, children, grandchildren and their families.

The son of Dorothy and George Harrell, David was born on March 13, 1951, in Oak Park, IL. David graduated from Bradley University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and shortly after, married the love of his life, Susan Gresak, on October 20, 1973.

In 1988, they moved to St. Charles, IL, where they raised their three children. David loved spending time with his family, cheering on the Cubs, and cooking. He leaves a legacy of warmth, kindness, and great food to all who knew him.

Survivors include sons, Jeff (Valerie) and Mike (Theresa); daughter, Patricia (Mike) Robinson; ten grandchildren – Johnathan Harrell, Anna Harrell, Barbara Harrell, Jackson Dalbey, Sage Harrell, Olivia Dalbey, Michael Robinson, Courtney Harrell, Jacob Robinson, and Jessica Robinson; and brother, Thomas (Melodie) Harrell.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 to 3:00 P.M., Saturday, November 29^th, at Yurs Funeral Home of St. Charles, 405 East Main Street (Corner of Rt. 64 and Rt. 25).
