Dennis Melton, 67, died peacefully Friday July 22nd. He was loved by his wife, brothers, children, grandchildren, and their families.
The son of Elvin and Bertha Melton, Dennis was born on December 14th, 1954 in Aurora, IL. On April 25, 1992 he married Susan Ann Erickson in Aurora, IL.
Survived by sons Gregg, Brian (Terri), and daughters Becca (Chris) Wickman, and Kelly (Kyle) Arnold, seven grandchildren – Katelynn Melton, Thomas Melton, Will Melton, Stryder Wickman, Owen Wickman, Beckham Arnold, and Wells Arnold, many nieces and nephews, as well as his brothers Ernie (Eva) and David (Heidi).
Preceded in death by his brother Robert.
A Memorial Visitation for family and friends will be held at 4:30 P.M.-5:30 P.M., Monday, August 1st followed by a Memorial Service at 5:30 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home of St. Charles, 405 East Main Street St. Charles, IL 60174 (Corner of Rt. 64 and Rt. 25).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dennis’ memory may be made to MitoCure at mitocure.org to help further the research of Mitochondrial Disease.
