Doreen Elizabeth Dorr passed away March 26th 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She will
be eternally missed by her husband, daughters, granddaughter, brother, parents, lots of family
and in-laws and many many friends.

The daughter of Donald and Jorjan Stoops, Doreen was born in Saint Charles IL on April 30th
1976. She graduated from Saint Charles East High School and followed her passion for social
work at Elgin Community College. On July 22nd 2011 she married Todd Negus.
Doreen raised her three daughters with Todd in the St. Charles community. She was a very
sensitive and caring person with love for everyone she met. She had a vibrant personality that lit
up the room and demanded attention. Many know her for her laugh that was contagious and
always the loudest in the room. She leaves a legacy of support, love, and beauty to all who
were blessed to know her. Anyone close to her knew her sarcasm, her politeness, her kindness
to always help others, her ability to make anyone around her feel special, her goofiness while
singing in the car, her boldness to never care who’s watching, and her wit when out people
watching. She was truly one of a kind, and we will never forget the beaming light that she shined
so bright on everyone in her life.

Survivors include: husband Todd Negus, daughters Madison, Kamryn, and Dylan,
granddaughter Reya, mother Jorjan Stoops(Kent), father Donald Stoops, brother Jason Stoops
(Amy), nieces Hayley, Olivia, and Lily, and dear aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.

She was predeceased by her uncle David Neri in 1988, grandmother Pauline Neri in 1989, and her grandfather George Neri in 1997.

Memorial Service will be held on Sunday May 1st, 2022 from 12-4:00 P.M. At Riverview Banquets 1117 North Washington Avenue (rt 25 south) Batavia Illinois 60510.

"Doreen is someone that you cannot help but to become fast friends with. She and I become close when we both were nannies. We would hang out all the time and she would cook for all of us (her kids, my kids, and me ) and she loved it. She was such a fun person to be around, her light and laughter was so infectious. I loved her dearly and realize how short life truly is. I miss her so much and my heart aches for all of her family! This was devastating news and still leaves a big hole in my heart!
