"Pacelli Family I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Doris for over 20 years at Valley Ambulatory Surgery Center and during that time we became good friends. She was great to work with, knowledgeable, fun and sincere. Many times Doris, my husband, Jim, myself and a few other co-workers enjoyed going to the Casino in Aurora. I loved how she enjoyed it all. Doris loved her family and was so proud of all of them. I am so glad I have known her all these years! She will be missed."
Jan Hodge from Aurora, IL
"My sincerest condolences to the Pacelli family. I had the pleasure of working with Doris at the “old” Delnor when she worked with Jack Taft and at Valley Ambulatory from 2001-14. Physically she reminded me of my grandmother, which was oddly comforting every day I saw her! She was sweet and pleasant all the time. Ironically, my grandparents and parents were all from Streator also, something I didn’t know about Doris. Wish I had, I’m sure we could’ve reminisced a bit... Anyway, I’m very sorry for your loss, she was a peach. I will treasure my memories of her. My best, Jan"
