Dorothy M Esposito, age 95, passed away peacefully at home on August 7, 2025. She was born on July 22, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois, to Frank and Theresa Patitucci, the loving parents of nine children.

Dorothy attended Mitchell Grade School and St Columbkille High School. She later married and built a family of her own, cherishing her role as a mother and grandmother. Her passion for cooking inspired her to open Dot’s Grill, a beloved neighborhood restaurant where friends and family gathered for years.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Albert of Elgin and Angela of Naperville, as well as five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren who will carry on her memory.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at YURS Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois.

Dorothy will be remembered for her warmth, devotion to family, and her gift of bringing people together around the table.
