"We are deeply saddened to hear about Dustin’s passing. He was such a wonderful person, and we always enjoyed our times together, whether it was playing mini-golf, racing go-karts, or sharing a meal. His presence brought joy and laughter, and he will be greatly missed. Please accept our heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. Our thoughts are with your family."

Erika Martel from Chicago , IL

"Dustin was an unapologetic, passionate, risk-taking, entrepreneur. He was also one of the most generous people I've ever met. We spent many happy years together both at Manchu's Choice & our home in Warrenville. He taught me a how to run a successful business & the importance of controlling your OWN destiny. We shared a love for music and traveled all over the U.S. for shows. He loved his toys: motorcycles, truck. hearse, boat, camper/trailer, jet ski-spent many happy times at Lake Geneva. He was truly in his element living FAST and FREE with the wind in his gorgeous hair. He took a lot of pride in creating Manchus. He worked tirelessly to bring superior handblown glass to the midwest all for the love of glass art and sticking it to "the man". Art that most people had only read about or seen in magazines/online at that time. He changed art lovers & artist's lives. He changed my life. Through him, we all thrived. Cheers to a life that was truly LIVED with so much energy, passion & gusto. My deepest condolences to his family.Grateful Dead #NFA: I wanna tell you how it's gonna be You're gonna give your love to me I wanna love you night and day You know my love will not fade away You know my love will not fade away Not fade away My love's bigger than a Cadillac I try to show you but you drive me back Your love for me has got to be real You're gonna know just how I feel Love's real, not fade away Not fade away"
