Edward N. Regole age 90, of St. Charles, Illinois passed away peacefully in his home August 15, 2022. He was born June 26, 1932 the son of Maurice and Gertrude Regole. He attended St. Patrick School and Marmion Military Academy. He served in the Navy from 1955 to 1958. Following his tour in the navy he was a dairy farmer until 1963. He continued to run the farm raising grain. Edward became a Purina Feed Dealer, founding Regole Harvest Shoppe in 1963 until 2009 when it became Trellis Farm and Garden. He was a member of the Kane County Farm Bureau, Illinois Corn Growers, American Legion, St. Charles Moose Lodge, and St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Ed had many favorite TV shows he enjoyed: Gunsmoke, Andy Griffith, The Price is Right, and Lawrence Welk. Favorite songs and singers he liked were Patsy Cline, Crazy, Eddy Arnold, I Can’t Stop Loving You, Wille Nelson, On the Road Again and Morris Albert, Feelings.
He is survived by his sons; Mark Regole, Greg Regole, sisters; Rosemary Evans Regole, Barbara Ann Willing Regole, grandson Kyle Regole, several nieces and nephews and former daughter-in-law Tracy Regole.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents Maurice and Gertrude Regole, his first wife Antoinette Booke Regole in 1976, second wife Vivienne in 2014, brothers; Maurice Regole Jr., John Martin Regole and sister Viola Kallgren.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday, August 18, 2022, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church 2900 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. Visitation will be 4:00 To 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. Burial will be at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Geneva, IL.
