Obituary

Eleanor Bianca Rooney 91, of St. Charles, died Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Michealson Health Center, Batavia.

She was born April 24, 1926 in West New York, New York. The daughter of the late Carl F. and Eleanor Auf der Heide.

 

Mrs. Rooney is survived by four children, Nola Rooney of Novi, Michigan, Barbara & Frank Rooney- Macknica of Chicago, Kim and Marc Rooney- Angelillo of Seattle, Washington and Robert and Heather Rooney of St. Charles. Eight Grandchildren, Melissa (Greg) Peterson, Steven Parsons, Josh (Irene) Jones, Lauren (David) Fitchett, Reese and Riley Rooney and Sophia and Nick Angelillo. Four great grandchildren and ten nieces and nephews. A sister, Janet (George) Sella of Newton, New Jersey.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Peter Carl Rooney, a sister, Marilyn and Warren Gerleit and her husband Peter James Rooney.

 

Visitation will be held Monday from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at St. Patrick Crane Road Church St. Charles. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be private at Prairie Cemetery, St. Charles.
