Elizabeth E. Pechler, age 90 of Carpentersville, IL passed away peacefully Sunday, July 25, 2021 at home surrounded by family.

Elizabeth, the oldest of six was born to Karel and Geraldine Binnendijk in Indonesia.  She grew up in Indonesia and as a young child she survived being held in a Japanese internment camp during WWII.   Later in life Elizabeth met Erik, they continued living in Indonesia until moving to Holland where they lived for a period before moving to the United States in 1961.

Having lived on three different continents she led a full and wonderful life.  She enjoyed playing tennis and traveling in her younger years, listening to music, sharing stories of her travels and enjoying life with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, her husband Erik Pechler, brothers Ronald Binnendijk, Jaan Binnendijk sisters Cisca Albinus, Juul Binnendijk, and son Ronald Pechler.

Elizabeth is survived by her brother Dick Binnendijk, daughters Ingrid Grable and Maud Rubeck (Paul),  Grandchildren Shawn Dorman (Matt), Ward Brady III (Michelle), Michael Daughters (Cynthia), Daniel Daughters, Hanna Koebel (Aaron), Ryan Daughters, Great-Grandchildren – Payton, Makenna, Rylee Dorman, Brooke and Ward (IV) Brady, Joceyln and Bodhi Daughters, and many nieces and nephews.
