Ellen Jeanne Bonier, née Young, age 72, of Yorkville, Illinois passed away at Rush Copley Hospital, Aurora, Illinois, on November 7th, 2020 after a long battle with heart issues.
Ellen was a loving mother to Kristan M. Wozniak (James Kaehler), Steven W. Zwiezen (Vickie), Lisa J. Reynoso (Robert), Michael R. Zwiezen (Lorraine), James J. Zwiezen (Michelle), and Gregory R. Bonier (Stephanie). She was a fond Grandmother to twenty and great grandmother to ten, daughter to Robert N. Young, sister to Robert Young (Eleanor), Patricia April (Thomas), and Kathleen Owens (Thomas). Ellen is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gregory W. Bonier and her beloved mother JoAnne E. Young (née Boehm).
Ellen had an illustrious career in the mortgage industry that spanned almost 40 years and thoroughly enjoyed her career right up to the very days before she passed. She also loved to read, crochet, sew, craft, watch Christmas movies, shop, and spend time with her family. Most of all, Ellen was known for her quick wit, infectious laugh, and her compassionate desire to care for everyone she met.
Due to the concern for our family and friends during the COVID-19 pandemic, a Celebration of Life will be held June, 2021.
