Evan Michael Boewe, a loving son, brother, and grandson, passed away in his home in Elburn on July 25, 2023. He was 27 years old.
Born and raised in Elburn, Evan’s adventurous spirit and determination were evident from a young age. He attended Kaneland public schools before earning his G.E.D., and it was through this journey that he discovered his love for the law.
Driven by his passion for justice, Evan pursued his dreams and earned a degree in political science from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, in May 2020. He continued to excel in his studies and achieved a Juris Doctor degree from the New England School of Law, Boston, in May 2023. Evan’s relentless pursuit of knowledge and his compassionate nature touched the lives of many.
He is survived by his parents, Timothy Boewe and Diane (Carlson) Boewe, his older brother, Eric Boewe, and his maternal grandmother, Denise (Triest) Carlson. Evan also leaves behind his aunts and uncles, Scott and Patti (Carlson) Medder, Bob and Marcia (Carlson) Williams, Byron and Denise (Boewe) Ockerman, and Kalvin and Michelle Boewe, along with several cousins whom he loved dearly.
A private memorial service celebrating Evan’s life will be held in St. Charles on August 2, 2023. In honor of his memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to The Barn on Baseline, www.thebarnonbaseline.org, a cause that was close to Evan’s heart.
