Obituaries

Frank M Anderson III, of St. Charles, IL passed away peacefully at his home with his family at his side on Sunday, May 27, 2018.  He was born in Chicago, IL on March 21, 1934 to Frank M. Anderson, Jr. and Genevieve (Anderson) Anderson.  He attended Penoyer Elementary and graduated from Taft High  School in Chicago, IL.  He enrolled at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota and after two years he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.  Following his discharge from the service, he returned to St. Olaf graduating with Bachelors degree in Business Management.  While at St. Olaf he met his wife, Marlys (Ronning) and they were joined in marriage on June 201, 1959 in Jasper, MN.

Frank worked his entire career in commercial and industrial sales.  His reputation and high ethical standards afforded him many opportunities in the packaging industry.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Marlys, his sons; Michael, Bruce, and Paul (Francesca) and two grandchildren, Madison and Gabriel.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Christopher, his parents and mother and father-in-law.

A Memorial Service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 8^th 2018 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1145 North 5^th Avenue St. Charles, IL 60174

The family requests memorial gifts be designated in Frank’s name to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Living Well Cancer Resource Center, Geneva, IL or a charity of the donor’s choice.

The family is thankful for the wonderful support and prayers of their church family and friends, and are especially grateful for the loving care of their husband and father by the North Northwestern Medicine Hospice team.
