George Joseph Vincolese, age 94 of St. Charles, IL died on August 21, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his loving wife (Mary Rose) of almost 70 years (September 29). Throughout those many years together they experienced many wonderful and difficult times, but their love endured as an example for their children and grandchildren.

The son of George and Mary Vincolese, George was born on March 30, 1927, in Chicago. Hewhere he was granted a patent for telephone switching equipment.  served his country in the U. S. Army in WWII in the Philippines as a MP. He attended University of Illinois (Champaign) and studied engineering. He worked at General Telephone (GTE) (Verizon) for 35 years, where he was granted a patent for telephone switching equipment.  They built their home and lives for 47 years in Elmhurst, IL., where they raised their three children and were active members of Visitation Parish. They moved to St. Charles, IL 20 years ago.

George was a pivotal influence in the lives of his family. His love for his wife, children and grandchildren was such an example for all. He greeted everyone with genuine love and always a hug. He always enjoyed a good party, especially for his birthday! He leaves a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to family.

He is survived by his wife Mary Rose, daughters; Sharon (Kenneth) Brinker, Diane (Mark) Gibson and daughter-in-law Lynn (Lou), sister-in-law Sally and his five grandchildren; Garrett, Troy, Caitlyn, Alexandra, and Emily. He was preceded in death by his son Kenneth and brother LeRoy.

His love and hugs will be missed by his family and friends, but we are blessed to have known such a beautiful soul who is now in heaven.
