Obituary

Harry John Klimek II, resident of St. Charles, IL, passed on September 15, 2018. Beloved husband of

Evelyn (Earl) for 55 years; loving father of son, Harry J. Klimek III (Kathleen) and daughter, Katherine

Hurlbut (Randy). Devoted grandfather to grandson Tod Gunther U.S. Army Staff Sergeant (Rachael) &

granddaughter Brittany Gunther, grandson Harry Klimek IV & granddaughter Rosaleen Klimek.

Great-grandfather to Logan and William Gunther. Caring brother of the late Geraldine (Klimek)

Confalone, Robert Klimek, and Patricia (Klimek) Palecek. Born in Chicago to Harry and Angeline (Suplya)

Klimek, his childhood was spent in Cicero, IL. He later married and moved to Downers Grove, IL where

he served on the Belmont Fire Department as a volunteer. Harry was a longtime employee of Magnetrol

International beginning his career there as a welder and retiring as plant manager in 2007. Visitation will

take place on Sunday, September 23 at 1:00pm til 3:00pm with a memorial service at 3:00pm at Yurs

Funeral Home 405 E Main St, St. Charles, IL. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Northwestern

Medicine Home Health & Hospice, 690 E. North Avenue, Carol Stream, IL 60188.
