forever proud of this work and cherished being a U.S. Veteran. These skills helped him
follow in his Dad’s footsteps, to being one of the best Crane Operators in the Midwest,
working as a Crane and Steel Engineer, setting steel on many prominent Chicago highrises
and buildings throughout the Chicago area over 45 years.Simple pleasures in life brought
Wayne great joy, specifically his family and grandkidswhom he loved dearly, their yearly

Condolences

Bill Manton from Hanover Park, IL

"Mary Jo and family, I am so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. Wayne was a good friend and co worker. His skills as a crane operator were legendary, especially when he was working on a job with JR. I always marveled at how he could bring in steel so fast and yet stop it so gently in the hands of an iron worker. He was truly one with the machine. The stories he told around the lunch table were the stuff of legend. He was always willing to lend me a hand in the shop or working on his machine on the job. He will never be forgotten."
