Ian J. Bonner age 13, of South Elgin, passed away October 3, 2017. He was born to Lawrence and Estela Macias- Bonner.
Ian was very loving, polite, helpful and fun. He cared deeply for other people. He loved music, swimming and enjoyed traveling. His smile would always light up a room. He was very bright and loved math. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
He is survived by his mother Estela, siblings; Eric, Stephan, Savannah, paternal grandparents Susan and Larry Bonner, maternal grandparents Estela and Jose Antonio Macias, two paternal aunts; Heidi Stolt, Laura (Jim) Wormsley, one maternal uncle; Jose Antonio Macias, Jr., two maternal aunts; Ivette (Marc) Hollendoner, Claudia Macias, nine cousins, and his extended family Cathy Bonner (Joe) and Krzysztof Pawlak.
Ian was preceded in death by his loving father and uncles; John and Jim Garbrecht.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M., October 9, 2017 at St. Patrick Crane Road Catholic Church, 6N491 Crane Road, St. Charles, IL 60175. Visitation will be 2-6 P.M. Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. Burial will be at Bluff City Cemetery, Elgin, Illinois.
