Iva B. Young age 93, of Geneva, passed away February 2, 2020. She was born to James and Sadie Baisden in Whirlwind, West Virginia. Iva was a lady of great faith and a member of Chapelstreet Church in Geneva. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, amazing grandmother, adoring great-grandmother and a thrilled great-great-grandmother. She loved her family dearly and was the best “Mom” any one could ever have.
She is survived by her daughter Anna (Paul) Baccus, son James (Deanna) Young, four grandchildren, Rachel (Wilbur) Underhile, Melissa (Tim) Kaminski, Bret (Jen) Young, Lauren (Karl) Read, five Great-grandchildren; Julianna (Ben) Jump, Logan Bruce, Caleb Cunz, Noah Kaminski, Elliana Young, one Great-great-granddaughter Allison Bruce, three sisters; Josephine Hightower, Elizabeth (Ray) Moore, Barbara Meade, two brothers Jerry (Donna) Baisden, David (Sheila) Baisden, and sister-in-law Brenda Baisden.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband James, brother Benny Baisden, sister Goldie (Frank) Hurlbut, brother Charles Baisden, sister Phyllis (James) Fetter, two infant siblings, and two brothers-in-law; Bill Hightower, Drewie Meade.
Visitation will be 4-8:00 P.M. Thursday, February 6, 2020, at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 7, 2020, at Yurs Funeral Home. Burial will be at River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia, Illinois.
