Michael Madden from Avon, CT
"Chris, both Rosemary and I send our sincere condolences to you and your family. As you may recall, we both attended St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland (at different times... I was four years ahead). We also both attended the University of Detroit studying electrical engineering... Jim was now ahead of me by one year. Even though our paths crossed in Cleveland and Detroit, we didn't know each other. However, when we moved to Avon from Poughkeepsie, NY, I met Jim working on the St. Ann's Cares Project (the annual Social Justice project in May of each year). It was when we were working in Hartford and talking while we worked, that we discovered our "connections".Jim was a very dedicated and committed man. He worked hard at giving back to the greater Hartford community for all the blessings that he had. We missed him in Avon when you and he moved to Chicago. We willl offer our prayers for all of you today at today's Mass at St. Ann's.Mike and Rosemary Madden"

"We are so very sorry to hear that Jim has passed away and offer all of our condolences to you and the whole family. We are great full to have been able to spend the day with you and Jim in Elgin shortly after the move there. We have wonderful memories of both of you from our MIT days. They would not have been near as memorable had you both not been there with us."
