James S. Miceli, 63, loving father, son, brother, and uncle, born June 21, 1955, joined our heavenly father September 17, 2018.
James was an electrician and a paid on call firefighter for the St. Charles Fire Department for many years. He loved to go boating on the Fox River, loved to collect train sets, and was an avid collector of Gi-Joes.
James is survived by his daughter Stephene Miceli; his father William Miceli; a sister Lorilyn (Mike) Thomas and their children, Sarah (Ryan Reiner) Thomas and Bradley Thomas. A sister Melanie (Vince) Catalano, and their children Jennifer (Sam) Bouso, Brittany (Joshua) Thompson, Dominic Catalano, Angelo (Emily) Catalano; Step-Grandfather Roy Tresner, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his loving mother Diane Miceli, maternal grandparents Domenic and Sarah Petramale; paternal grandmother Rose Giampalo Miceli Tresner, and several aunt’s and uncle’s. Funeral mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. Monday September 24 at St. John Neuwmann Church, 2900 E. Main St., St. Charles. Burial will be at Union Cemetery St. Charles. Visitation will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday September 23, at Yurs Funeral Home of St. Charles.
