Janet Sue Wright nee Oberg, 82, of Oak Brook, Illinois, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2023. Janet was born September 24, 1940 to the late George and Eleanor Oberg in Forest Park, Illinois.
Janet grew up in Forest Park, Illinois and attended Proviso East High School. Her professional life included several administrative roles with her most recent being as an administrative assistant for Delta Dental. Janet loved God and her family, followed closely by coffee, sweets and Lake Lawn Lodge resort in Wisconsin. She lived by her personal motto, “Keep the Faith!”
Janet is preceded in death by her husband Hal Wright, her parents George Oberg and Eleanor (Foute) Oberg, and her siblings Marilyn (Oberg) Provenza, Gerald Oberg (Patricia) and Dolores (Oberg) McGuffin (Robert). She is survived by her two children Dawn Saul and Michael Lolli (Gina) and step-children Cindy (Brian) and Jimmy. She loved her many grandchildren: Michael James, Christopher, James, Katelyn, Michael Scott and Quinn, and great-grandchildren Blake and Brady, and was an aunt and great-aunt to many.
The family will hold a celebration of life ceremony in Oak Park, Illinois in late summer or early fall.
