Jeffery M. Roberts “Woody” age 61, of Aurora, passed away May 16, 2018. He was born in Chicago, and grew up in Schaumburg. Jeff loved to fish, and his favorite place was the Float in Alma, Wisconsin on the Mississippi River. Jeff did improv at Second City in Chicago with Richard Klein. He was known as a “great car guy”, and was a friend to all and always there for his friends.
He is survived by his loving wife Susan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his “Little Girls” Rosie, River, Lake and LaSalle.
A Memorial Visitation will be 4-8:00 P.M. Monday, May 21, 2018 at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois 60174. A Memorial Service will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Chapelstreet Church, 2300 South Street, Geneva, Illinois 60134.
Contributions may be made in Jeff’s memory to The Fox Valley Animal Welfare League.

He fell in front of his tribe a couple of times. He had pride and those falls hurt. What he probably didn’t know was that through those falls he had become an inspiration to so many Who watched him get back on the bike courageously time and again We pray that now he runs and walks and rides effortlessly, and that he is strong and steady, and when he falls, God smiles and helps him up. Jeff was a very loyal friend, who would always stand up for what he believed in, and had no problem hitting me right in the nose with tough love advice when necessary. I loved his candor, sense of humor, and his fun, entertaining, positive personality. Jeff absolutely made an impact on me as an individual. I will cherish memories of ball games, tailgating, working, and just laughing and hanging out with you Jeff... You will be greatly missed"
