Joan E. Jachera, age 80, of DeKalb, formerly Waterman, died Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at the Bethany Health Care and Rehab Center DeKalb.

She was born October 17, 1936 in Chicago. The daughter of the late William and Anna Dutkowski.

She is survived by her loving and devoted sons, William and Dan Jachera. As well as her sister, Elaine (Phil) Eder. Also, many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband John T. Jachera.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at St. Patrick Crane Road Church 6N487 Crane Road St. Charles. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 A.M . Monsignor Steven Knox Officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City. Contributions may be made to the family of Joan Jacheral c/o of Yurs Funeral Home 405 E.
