Elizabeth Burkland from Montclair, NJ

"Dear Carrie and Catherine and Families, I am so sorry to hear of Uncle John's passing. He was such a delightful person: kind, generous and funny. So devoted to your Mom and you girls. I have many fond memories of he and your Mom driving up to Oconomowoc with you two to visit my family and afternoons spent laughing and picnicing and going for a ride in our little boat. Emphasis on laughing. We were all so fortunate to know such a wonderful guy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Much Love, Liz"

Monica Smith from Geneva, IL

"I was so sorry to hear about John passing. I was his property manager when he lived at the Village at Mill Creek apartments and John was always one of my favorite residents. What a kind, funny, interesting man. He would stop in to chat frequently and I always looked forward to his visits. My condolences to John's family on your loss - I know you will miss him."
