John H. Turner age 82, of St. Charles, IL passed away July 12, 2018. He was born to Harold and Mildred Turner in Woodstock, IL. He was born and raised on dairy farms in Alden, Hebron and Greenwood, IL until the age of twenty-one. He graduated from Embry- Riddle Aeronautical University in Miami, FL. He joined the Marines for six months and then served in the Reserves for six years. John received his CFP degree in Finance and worked in the financial industry for over fifty-four years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Carol, daughters; Michelle (John) Unser, Lori (James) Anderson, son Aaron (Sara) Turner, seven grandchildren; Kelsey Unser, Logan Unser, Madeline Anderson, Nicholas Anderson, Benjamin Anderson, Trenton Turner, and Victoria Turner.

John was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother Gene Frederic Turner.

Visitation will be 4-8:00 P.M. Monday, July 16, 2018 at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. Funeral Services will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church 2900 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. Burial will be private. Contributions may be made in John’s memory to The Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network, Bethesda Maryland.
