John “Jack” Steven Gorman age 67, of DeKalb, formerly of Geneva, Illinois passed away June 14, 2018.  He was born October 4, 1950 in Norfolk, Virginia to Patrick and Jean Gorman. He came to the Fox Valley when he was 22 years old. He met his bride to be on a blind date in St. Charles, and they were soon married. He enjoyed all sports, and taught his kids football and wrestling. Jack loved family car vacations, and seeing all the sites along the way.

He is survived by his loving wife Peggy Sue, son Bill, daughter Kim, sons; James, and Joe, three grandchildren; Josh, Maddie, Kailee, brother Pat (Joanne), George (Beth), and sister Tracy (Henry).

Jack was preceded in death by his mother and father, and son in law Mike.

Jack will be dearly missed by everyone, and Peggy will always have a special place in her heart for the love of her life.

A Memorial Visitation will be 9-11:00 A.M. Friday, June 22, 2018, at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois 60174. A Memorial Service will follow the visitation at 11:00 A.M. at Yurs Funeral Home. Burial of his cremains will be at River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia, Illinois 60510. Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, or a Cancer Society of the donor’s choice.
