Dezi Mendoza from Plano, TX

"Life asked Death, 'Why do people love me but hate you?' Death responded, 'Because you are a beautiful lie, and I'm the painful truth.'" – UnknownIt is a painful truth that we are all dealing with. Your sense of humor, nerdiness and personality encompassed everyone around you. From your beautiful wife to your family and friends. All of us will miss you more than any words can describe. Some of us are still angry that such an amazing human could be taken from this world so quickly and without warning. Nothing can ever prepare the soul for the loss of another soul. It leaves an ache in the empty space of where the heart is. Some of us would have preferred the beautiful lie, even if for just a little bit longer. We wonder if you know how much we love you, how we miss you, if you know that some of us have your text messages saved, messages from FB that are forever archived, that as much as we hurt, we keep a straight face, going day to day. Your pictures, new and old, shared among those who will miss your smile. Wherever your soul is…heaven, the Death Star, among the clouds of the Tibanna Gas Mines…Know you are missed so very much and even though over time the pain may become less and less, it will never truly go away. Keep your light saber close, hug Gramma tight and may the force be with you."

"I thought someone was playing a joke on me and I'm sad I'm just hearing this now. We had some great times and you will be missed. Ill never forget in grammar school how you did a science project on "How clothes can change your image". You will always be a friend. See you one day. God bless you wife and family, Much Love."
