Joy Arlene Bright, age 78, of West Chicago passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at River Glen in St. Charles.

She was born November 29, 1940 in Elmhurst, Illinois to Carl and Wilda Froeming.

Joy was a member of the Pottawatomie Garden Club and the Silver Foxes.  She was a student counselor at St. Charles East High School

Mrs. Bright is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dale, three children, Daniel (Ada),  Linda (Anthony) Ritrovato and Amy (Jeff) Kranicki, seven grandchildren, Samantha (Chad) Anderson, Rachael Ritrovato, Daniel Simmons, Allison (Charles) Johnson, Tyler (Krista) Simmons, Justin Kranicki and Ciro Bright and a brother, Charles Froeming.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Chapelstreet Church, 2300 South Street, Geneva.  Memorial visitation will be for one hour before the service at church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Chapelstreet Church, 2300 South Street, Geneva, Illinois 60134 or to Anderson Animal Shelter, 1000 South LaFox Road, South Elgin, Illinois 60177 or to Living Well Cancer Resource Center, 442 Williamsburg Ave, Geneva, Illinois 60134.
