Kathy Cullinan left for her final journey on February 10, 2022 reuniting with her husband Jim, who preceded her in death, along with her large Dougherty family. She was the youngest of six children, her parents William and Joanna, sister Betty and brothers Billy, Joe, Pat and Donny.

Kathy had a great outlook on life and was happy with the blessings she had. She was a mother of five kids born in seven years – Tracy (Marty) Healy, Carrie (Chris) Barth, Jim Cullinan, Tim (Joanne) Cullinan, and Michael (Misty) Cullinan, – and nine grandkids – Clara, Brendan, Colleen, Joseph, Declan, Aidan, Christopher, Erin and Sean.

Her family will remember her love of gardens and flowers, her competitive streak at Sequence or bocce ball, and her love of the Girls Weekend Trips with her daughters and granddaughters.

Along with being a busy mom, she worked her entire life beginning at WISN in Milwaukee where she met her future husband, Jim Cullinan. Then she spent over 20 years working as a customer service agent at Baxter Health Care. Kathy had an adventurous streak that began with a bus ride to Los Angeles with her mom to visit her sister and her last trip to Napa for her son’s 50th birthday dinner with trips to Switzerland, Alaska, Ireland and Bourbon Street in New Orleans in between.Kathy leaves so many wonderful memories for her family and friends.

We will celebrate Kathy’s life with a wake on Friday February 18, 2022, 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois. The funeral will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, February 19, 2022 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2800 E. Main Street, St. Charles, with a lunch immediately following at Giordano’s Pizzeria, 3641 E. Main Street, St. Charles Illinois. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer’s Association to find a cure.
