Ken Fenske, age 89, loving husband of Janice E. Weisenborn for 67 years.

Proud father of Maurenne E. (deceased), Kai (Suzanne) and Carl (Joan); grandfather of Erik, Kyle, Kevin, Vivienne, Adam and Nathan; uncle to many nephews.

Preceded in death by his sister Barbara Schwarz.

Ken was born in Chicago, Illinois. He attended St. John Lutheran School and North Park Academy in Chicago, Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Wright Jr. College in Chicago. He played basketball and belonged to the synchronized swimming team along with long time friend Glen MacArthur.

He served with the US Army Security Agency at Ft. Devens, Ayer, Massachusetts from 1960-63. He was a member of IBEW #134, Mason Ben-Hur Lodge 818, Medinah Shrine Temple, Fox Valley Shrine Club, Veterans Group of Silver Glen Senior Living, Antioch Lions Club and Bethlehem Lutheran Church and choir.

Ken loved being an usher for the Shriners Hospital in Chicago. He loved Loon Lake, boating, raking beach front and taking grandchildren for rides on the tractor but what brought him greatest joy was dancing with his wife Janice.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1145 North Fifth Ave, St. Charles.
